Webmail Access

In addition to using e-mail clients such as Outlook or Windows Live Mail, all e-mail accounts can be accessed from your web browser. However, using webmail means that all messages are kept on the mail server where there is limited space so you need to maintain your in-box by deleting unwanted messages and limiting the number of saved messages to prevent a full mailbox condition, which will prevent new mail from being delivered to your in-box.

  1. Enter https://abbi.shenvalleyonline.net:2096 in your browser's address bar. The Webmail login screen appears:

  2. Enter the e-mail address in the form name@domain.com and the password.
  3. Once you login, click the one of the e-mail clients (Horde, RoundCube, or SquirrelMail) to access your mailbox (RoundCube appears to be the easiest to use). Once you decide which e-mail client you prefer, you may click the Enable AutoLoad link to remember your preference.

Webmail Maintenance

Webmail maintenance is easiest using Roundcube for changing settings and for deleting messages.

Settings

In Roundcube, click the gear icon (Settings) at the upper right corner of the Inbox. Click " Server Settings" in the Section column, check the settings shown and then click "Save." If the save is successful a message "Successfully Saved" will briefly appear in the bottom gray bar in the Server Settings column.
