The data center is engineered with multiple levels of security including access cards and biometric (fingerprint) scanners, uninterruptible power systems, redundant HVAC systems, fire suppression, and around-the-clock monitoring and management. There is a firewall around the data center, each server has a local firewall, and each server also has software to detect and prevent port scanning.
